How to run the talk
Step 1
Ask what a typical week would feel like
Invite the student to describe Tuesday tasks in each shortlisted path: building, writing, care, numbers, or people. Prestige titles matter less than daily energy.
Step 2
Read Fit Scores as a shortlist, not a verdict
Close scores are a cluster to explore together. A single top score is still a matching signal from one sitting, not IQ, marks, or admission odds.
Step 3
Compare two paths side by side
Use Save & Compare on JobCareerTest, then check eligibility, fees, and entrances on official sites for your country and year.
Step 4
Agree one 14-day experiment
Pick one low-stakes try-before task (project, conversation with someone in the field, or a skill practice). Review together after two weeks.
What to ask the student for

- 3. One skill they will practise in the next 14 days.
