• Assessment answers and results you submit while taking a career assessment. On many devices these also save in your browser (local storage) so you can reopen your Career Profile without an account.
• Account details if you sign up or sign in (such as email address, name from Google sign-in, and session information).
• Messages you send through the contact form (name, email, subject, and message).
• Technical data such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and referring URL, used to keep the site secure and working.

2. How we use information

• Generate and display your Career Profile and related guidance.
• Save progress or results when you choose to use those features.
• Respond to support requests and improve the assessment experience.
• Process optional paid features if you subscribe.
• Measure site usage and show relevant advertising where enabled.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage for essential functions (for example, keeping you signed in), remembering cookie preferences, and, if you allow them, analytics and advertising. Assessment progress and Career Profile data may also be stored in your browser's local storage on this device.

Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to collect information as a result of ads served on this site.

Browser-saved results stay on your device until you clear site data or retake the assessment. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us to make a request. You can also clear browser storage for this site, manage cookie preferences, or cancel a subscription from Cancel Subscription.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), we seek consent before non-essential cookies and personalized ads. Essential cookies needed to run the site may still apply.

8. Children and COPPA

JobCareerTest is educational career guidance for secondary-school students, college students, and adults. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

Parents and mentors of teens may use the Parents guide. If a visitor is under 18, a parent or guardian should review privacy choices and any account use with them.
